The Planning & Zoning Advisory Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. to review and make recommendations to the Village Council regarding applications for site plan review, signage requested in conjunction with site plan review and any other reviews related to planning, zoning and development requested by the Village Council.  The Board also sits as the Local Planning Agency and serves as the Village Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee. 

The Board is open to all incorporated Tequesta residents over 18 years of age, and must be a registered voter within the Village of Tequesta. The current vacancy is due to a Board Member resignation.  The Village Council shall fill the term for the unexpired term, which expires May 14, 2020.  Alternate members serve a two-year term and Regular members serve a three-year term.    


The Public Safety Pension Board of Trustees meets quarterly on the 1st Monday of the month (4 times per year) to review information regarding the Public Safety Pension Fund.  The volunteer board position is open to residents over 18 years of age, who are registered voters within the Village of Tequesta.  Members should have some background in Finance, Pension Funds, or related experience in the financial field.

The current vacancy is due to the resignation of a long-time board member. The new member will serve a two-year term as a Council Appointee and the term will expire 5/13/21.
