Boil Water Notification for 3900 County Line Rd Buildings 3, 4, 18 and 19 due to Replacement of Damaged Fire Hydrant
Dear Valued Customer:
The Utilities Department is scheduled to replace the fire hydrant on March 23, 2021 starting at 8am. The replacement process take 4-6 hours during which time the water service will be interrupted to buildings 3, 4, 18 and 19 (Units A, B, C and D for each building).
After the water service has been restored to your property, it is required by the Palm Beach County Department of Health to issue a Precautionary Boil Water Notice.
Any water use for consumption must be brought to a rolling boil for a period of three (3) minutes. This will render the water safe for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes free of bacteria, viruses and protozoa. Ice makers should be turned off and any ice made should be discarded. Showering and bathing is permissible.
This procedure should be followed until you are notified that the Boil Water Order is lifted.
The Palm Beach County Department of Health requires two consecutive days of negative testing for microbiology, this may take up to 72 hours to confirm test results.
The Utility Department will deliver a Notice Lifting the Precautionary Boil Water Order once the clearance process has been completed.
