The Village’s Mayor, Abby Brennan, and senior managers recently participated in the newly formed Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Leadership program. On April 3, the Village presented to 30 high-level Palm Beach County executives on Tequesta’s distinct and unique characteristics that help make Palm Beach Florida’s “Prosperity Coast”. The presentation focused on a prosperous economy, our high quality of life, and smart and connected regions. Those in attendance learned about the diverse civic, economic and social environment of the Village, current trends and issues in our economy, as well as growth and development strategies we have put in place.
Tequesta was proud to share “The Magic of Tequesta” with these local executives while sharing what makes Tequesta the 7th Safest City in Florida - our superb public safety (police and fire), exceptional community outreach projects and events and the strong community bond. These distinct characteristics are enhanced through the Village’s numerous lively and passive parks and recreation areas, a vibrant arts community, a diverse housing supply, and a strong and engaged business community.
The participants will present their research and solution(s) to the Palm Beach North Chamber's Economic Development Committee and receive feedback regarding the viability of their proposal(s) from private and public stakeholders.
