Solar Eclipse Safety

Solar Eclipse_NEWSFEED

The Solar Eclipse will take place on Monday 8/21/1 between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM and in full effect around 3 PM.

We ask that you please be extra cautious as drivers and pedestrians may be distracted and school buses are dropping off students during this time. Some parents may keep their kids home to experience the eclipse so there could be more children out at this time than normal.

TIPS: Looking directly at the sun, even briefly, while viewing the event without proper eye protection may cause eye damage; and sunglasses will not provide effective protection. Special protective eye wear designed for viewing an Eclipse can be purchased.

Good luck while safely viewing the Solar Eclipse.
