MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE AND EVICTION RELIEF
The Governor suspended mortgage foreclosures and evictions via Executive Order 20-94 solely as it relates to non-payment for rent by residential tenants due to COVID -19 emergency under Florida law for 45 days from the date of this Executive Order.
REEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
With thousands of Floridians seeking help from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Reemployment Assistance Program leading to significantly greater demand upon DEO’s personnel, infrastructure, technology, and resources the Governor has directed via Executive Order 20-93 that personnel redirect their current responsibilities and be deployed to work with the federal government and other state agencies to pursue all measures necessary to help Florida citizens during these trying times.
SAFER AT HOME EXECUTIVE ORDER 20-91
Today Gov. DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-91, effective April 3, at 12:01 a.m. directing that all persons in Florida shall limit their movements or personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or essential activities.
Essential services are detailed in the Memo attached to the linked Order.
The Order encourages residents work from home when possible and businesses are encouraged to provide take-out, delivery, or curbside service outside of the business of orders placed online or via phone.
Social gatherings in a public place are not considered essential activity.
NON-CRITICAL RETAIL AND COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES TO REMAIN CLOSED
All Non-critical retail and commercial businesses in Palm Beach County are to remain closed until further notice. The continuing operation of critical businesses is necessary to provide goods and services to the public, to keep the public healthy and to ensure availability of supplies.

PALM BEACH COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER #3 AMENDMENT
DIRECTING STAY HOME - STAY SAFE - SAFER AT HOME
Per Palm Beach County Order 2020-003a, effective March 30, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., residents are strongly urged to stay home or at their place of residence, except to obtain necessary services and supplies as outlined in Section 7 a-e of the Order.

This executive order bans vacation rentals across the state.
*New* Governor Executive Order #20-86: Additional Requirements of Certain Individuals Traveling to Florida All persons who enter the State of Florida from an area with substantial community spread, to include the State of Louisiana, inclusive of those entering the State of Florida by roadways, to isolate or quarantine for a period of 14 days from the time of entry into the State of Florida or the duration of the person’s presence in the State of Florida, whichever is shorter.

MISC ORDERS/INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19
- #2020-80 Executive Order re: Emergency Management – COVID-19 -- Airport Screening and
Mandates airline passengers arriving into Florida on flights from New York and surrounding areas must undergo a 14-day quarantine. Travelers from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut will be subject to the mandatory quarantine. Anyone who violates this could be fined $500 and face 60 days in jail. Airline employees and those performing emergency health or military duties are exempt.

All hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, office surgery centers, dental, orthodontic offices, and other health care practitioners’ offices in the State are prohibited from providing any medically unnecessary, non-urgent or non-emergency procedure or surgery which, if delayed, does not place a patient’s immediate health, safety, or wellbeing at risk.

All restaurants and food establishments statewide licensed under Chapters 500 and 509, Florida Statutes, to suspend on-premised food consumption for customers. Food establishment may operate their kitchens for purpose of providing delivery or take-out services. Such vendors may continue to sell alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption off-premises.

All beaches remain closed in Palm Beach and Broward counties. All movie theaters, concert houses, auditoriums, playhouses, bowling alleys, arcades, gymnasiums, fitness studios. This does not apply to gyms and fitness centers which are amenities of hotels, which have a capacity of 10 persons or less, or are an amenity of a residential building.
