The Village of Tequesta will only post information from, or provide hyperlinks to, public schools, Village sponsored events, organizations that offer government provided services, and those organizations that have qualified and been accepted as sponsors for Village programs and/or events. Postings and /or hyperlinks shall remain active for no longer than thirty (30) days.  The following are annual events the Village has deemed appropriate to automatically post each year without further Council approval necessary:  Tequesta Fire-Rescue Chili Cook-off, Tequesta Business Association events, Wreaths Across America, Memorial Day Veterans Salute, American Legion Poppy Day, JTAA Holiday Parade, Busch Wildlife events (in Tequesta), and Lighthouse Art Center Gallery and School of Arts Exhibits (in Tequesta).

Tequesta Life

The Village is a mix of single family home neighborhoods and condominium complexes, which attract families, working professionals and retirees. Visitors and residents alike benefit from a variety of shops and service businesses, as well as churches of various faiths. Tequesta is also home to the Lighthouse Gallery and School of Arts.

The Village of Tequesta is proud of its strong sense of community and genuine hometown friendliness. Residents routinely participate in Village sponsored events such as movies and concerts in the park, Tequesta Fest, Kidz Night the Rec, and Senior Trip events. In addition, the Village residents and staff support many local charity initiatives such as the Wounded Warrior Second Chance Project, Relay for Life and the Nautical Fishing Club.
