Qualifying Period 

Begins at Noon on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 and run through Noon on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  

Seats up for Election

  • Seat 1 - Frank D'Ambra (incumbent)
  • Seat 3 - Laurie Brandon (incumbent)
  • Seat 5 - Rick Sartory (incumbent)

To be eligible to run for office, you must be a resident of the incorporated Village of Tequesta, a resident of the Village for a minimum of one continuous year prior to qualifying, and a registered voter of Palm Beach County.  When a resident decides to seek office, they should schedule an appointment with the Village Clerk to review the “Candidate Election Handbook.” During this meeting, a comprehensive explanation of the process is provided, required forms and election laws reviewed, and important dates and deadlines are discussed.  The Candidate Election Handbook is now available for review.  All interested candidates need to make an appointment with the Village Clerk and set aside approximately one hour to review the handbook with the Clerk.
